Brasa

Brasa

Head to Brasa for comfort food inspired by Creole and Caribbean cooking traditions in a small, casual setting (be prepared to wait, as Brasa is a destination eatery in Minneapolis, partly thanks to Adam Richmond on The Travel Channel). Loosely translated to “barbeque” or “braised” in English, “Brasa” specializes in rotisserie, slow-cooked meats such as pulled chicken smothered in light pepper gravy and slow roasted pork seasoned with garlic and lime. On the side, go for the cabbage and apple coleslaw, roasted yams and Andouille sausage, creamed spinach with jalapeño or cornbread and beans. Everything comes in small, medium or large size, making your options perfect for sharing and sampling many different items on the menu. Everything on the menu is cooked in-house, from 100 % natural, local, and organic products.
