Historic Prophetstown

Located just 15 minutes north of  Lafayette/West Lafayette, this historic site has 300 acres of land that are home to historic towns and farms, prairies, Belgian horses, Indian settlements and much, much more! Special events also take place at Historic Prophetstown, so be sure to check out the calendar before planning a visit.
Entrance is included with the purchase of a Prophetstown State Park entry fee.

Tippecanoe Battlefield and Museum

Tippecanoe Battlefield is the site of the historic Battle of Tippecanoe. Today, it is home to multiple picnic grounds and hiking trails, a nature center, a museum and a gift shop. Located just 15 minutes north of  Lafayette/West Lafayette.

Frank Lloyd Wright’s SAMARA house was built in 1955-56 for Dr. John Christian, who still occupies the home. Considered to be one of the most complete Frank Lloyd Wright homes in existence, the house includes over forty of Wright’s innovations. However, the house is unique in that it was designed specifically for Dr. Christian, and his wife and daughter. The Christians were professionals at Purdue University, and wanted a home where they could entertain faculty and students.
