O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is located less than 20 miles south west of Evanston. This is the largest airport in the Chicago area, offering the most direct flights from anywhere.
Midway Airport (MDW) is located approximately 25 miles south of Evanston. Although not that much further in miles, MDW is south of Chicago so keep in mind that the traffic getting to the north side of Chicago to Evanston could be much more of a hassle.
