HAWKAPALOOZA & FRYFEST

  These two events just began in 2009, serving the entire Iowa City/Coralville community to get everyone involved in celebrating the opening of the fall athletic season. Hawkapalooza takes place on the Thursday night before the opening game in Hubbard Park, next to the Iowa Union on campus, with a giant pep rally including live bands to kick off the football season. BAND EXTRAVAGANZA

For over 40 years, Band Extravaganza has been one of the most wildly popular events on campus.
