FLYING
Willard Airport is owned and operated by the University of Illinois, and is located just 5 miles south of campus on SR 45. Daily non-stops from Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth are offered by American Airlines and Delta.
Once at the airport, you can rent a car, take a taxi, or ride the bus.

The closest major international airport would be Indianapolis International Airport (IND)
From here, you can rent a car or take the Lincoln Land Express Bus.

DRIVING
Champaign-Urbana is located in mid-eastern Illinois, an hour from the Indiana border. Several major highways lead to Champaign-Urbana: I-74 west from Indianapolis (1.5 hours); I-57 south from Chicago (2.5 hours); I-70 east/I-57 north from St. Louis (3 hours); I-72 east from Springfield (1.5 hours) 

TRAIN
Champaign-Urbana is serviced by Amtrak on the daily Lincoln route between Chicago and St. Louis.

BUS
Champaign-Urbana is accessible by Greyhound Bus from multiple cities or by Megabus from Chicago and Memphis, TN.

GETTING AROUND CHAMPAIGN-URBANA
The University of Illinois campus is very walkable. But to visit the downtown areas of Champaign and Urbana, you’ll probably need a ride if you don’t have a car.

Taxis are plentiful, but you will probably need to call a few minutes ahead to arrange a ride in advance.
